Terupharma was not born in a laboratory. It was born in a conversation between a pastor and a nurse — a son and his mother — who kept seeing the same problem: people suffering from real ailments, unable to access effective, affordable remedies.

The Problem We Saw

Quality medication is often locked behind prescriptions, specialist visits, and price tags that exclude the very people who need it most. The alternative — the herbal route — is flooded with products full of fillers, weak concentrations, and marketing promises that don't deliver. Everyday South Africans were being failed on both sides.

As spiritual caregivers serving people from all walks of life, we witnessed this firsthand. People dealing with chronic pain, hormonal imbalances, weakened immunity, stress, and lifestyle disease — praying for healing, but lacking access to remedies that actually worked alongside that faith.

Going Back to the Roots

South Africa is one of the most botanically rich nations on earth. Our ancestors knew this. Previous generations consulted healers, used indigenous plants, and trusted nature's pharmacy. That knowledge is being forgotten — and we believe it shouldn't be.

We went back to the drawing board. We researched which indigenous plants and medicinal mushrooms have a genuine track record — not just in African tradition, but globally. We looked at Cancerbush (Sutherlandia frutescens), revered for centuries in Southern African healing. We looked at Reishi mushroom, used for millennia in Eastern medicine. We asked: how do we extract these at maximum potency, and how do we make them easy for anyone to use?

The answer was our concentrated liquid extract, delivered via a precision serum spray. No measuring drops into drinks. No capsules to swallow. Just three pumps directly into your mouth — and let nature do the rest.

Where We Make It

Our production facility is nestled in a remote part of the Eastern Cape — far from industrial pollution, close to the land. This is not by accident. We believe the environment in which a remedy is made matters. Clean air, clean water, and proximity to the indigenous plants we work with are part of who we are.

Every batch is produced with rain water, laboratory-grade ethanol, and vegetable glycerine — and nothing else. No preservatives, no additives, no shortcuts. Our amber glass bottles are UV and light resistant, protecting the potency of every extract from production to the moment it reaches you.

The Name & The Mission

Terupharma is a fusion of two words: Terupha (Hebrew for healing or remedy) and Pharma (pharmacy). Our logo — a tree with twelve branches — draws from Revelation 22, which speaks of the tree of life whose leaves bring healing to the nations.

We are not a religious brand, and we welcome people of every background and belief. But our foundation is this: we believe healing is a gift meant to be accessible to all — rooted in faith, grounded in nature, and proven by tradition.
